Our story
No Place Like Home started in February of 2017, as a way to raise more money for the 120 sick and elderly dogs Lesley and her family had already rescued at that point.
With the help of friends and family, No Place Like Home now looks after 200 oldies and has helped rehome 300 doggies.

The team behind the charity
Oldies are one of the reasons why NPLH started as a rescue. Lesley and her family saw old and sick dogs in need and saw the cry for help from these poor souls.
Lesley Carrington is the President and Founder of the No Place Like Home (NPLH) Charity. She lives in Spain with her family and runs her rescue there.
Sarah is an active member based in the UK, who helps out with advertising, posting, answering enquiries and fundraising.
Lesley’s husband Andy and son Tobias help out by looking after the wonderful oldies, and the wonderful volunteers take care of the two charity shops.

We happily accept and collect furniture, clothing, crockery, tableware, items for interior decoration, other homeware or any such items that you would be happy to buy yourself.
